A few kilometers
in the south of Chinon, in Ligré, you can see this imposing mégalith.
The higher stone is collapsed, but a very
broad input is noticed, and the height is also significant, one could hold
upright inside.
DRACHE - La Pierre Perçée
In few kilometers of St Maure de Touraine,
is the menhir of "la pierre percée", it is one of highest
of the area.
The natural hole always has exity popular imagination,
and one exchanged oaths while passing the hands there.The children who passed
the head there were protected from the scrofula and the grass protects from
the fates and the bad spirits.
As much of menhirs, it was used as skittle
to Gargantua, who aimed at it discs (dolmens of the surroundings).
BOMMIERS
Near the Pierre Preçée, in Bommiersdraws up this significant dolmen.
One can however imagine that it was at least
5 meters long. The width of the room is of more than 2 meters and one can
be held upright inside.
