Many megalithic sites were discovered between Lannion, Trégastel
and Trébeurden :
THE ROCKS OF TREGASTEL
These rocks have a peculiar shape. And especially the "die"
which looks as if it is balanced. The names of the rocks are the die, the
crêpes and the witch.
During W.W.II the German, as they were hampered by the rocks,
wanted to destroy them, but rumour has it that every shell ricocheted off
the rocks without scratching them.
Between Trégastel and Trébeurden, this dolmen awaits on the
side of the road.
You will find this covered path on l'Ile Grande (the great
island).
It is 9 metres long and it is directed towards the east and
west
COVERED PATH OF PRAT AR MENHIR
You may notice a small standing stone at the entrance outside
the megalith.
This covered path is about 13 metres long and it is turned
towards the east and west.
MENHIR OF SAINT DUZEC
It is probably the most beautiful menhir, and it is one of
the stones that were turned into Christian monuments.
This menhir, which is 8.10 metres high, has grooves on its
north side and very beautiful 1674 sculptures on its south side.
The top is decorated with a cross below which you can see
a rooster and the Blessed Virgin surrounded by the moon and the sun.
